DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION: MAY 31st 2008

   
ISE TRAVEL GRANTS

The Executive Committee of the ISE will continue the tradition started in 1988 at the 8th Kyoto Congress and provide travel grants.


SELECTION CRITERIA

Preference will be given to young endocrinologists and/or endocrinologists from developing countries who have demonstrated effectiveness in endocrine research. We will work with our member National Societies to identify future potential leaders in Endocrinology.

Endocrinologists must be 35 years of age or under, with first authorship of a submitted abstract to ICE 2008.

Submission of an abstract is a pre-requisite for all travel grant applications.
Abstract scores will be an important criterion in the award process.


DEADLINE

Deadline for receipt of completed applications: May 31st 2008.

AMOUNT AWARDED

A total of 100 personal grants of $1,000 US each for travel and meetings support.

Those receiving travel grants will not be exempt from paying the registration fee, but will be invited to an ISE Fellows event at ICE 2008. Reimbursement will be at the Brazil meeting in US dollars.


NOTICE OF AWARD

Notice of the travel grant awards will be made by the Office of the Secretary General on September 1st 2008.
